Choir
Yesterday most of Room 6 went to choir. Some the songs we are going to sing are... We're going to have a party, Eye of the tiger and something in the water. I am looking forward to the big show.

Tree Planting Fun
Yesterday Room 6 went tree planting. Me and Riley found around 28 worms in one hit in the dirt where we were planting our tree.
It was REALLY awesome!!!! Me and Riley planted around 36 plants!!!!!!

Fantastic Fossils!!
Last term we went to Jimmy Lee Creek. Here are the Fossils!! A fossil is a thing that lived a long long long time ago!
We found them at fossil hill which was the way down from
the hill. There was only fossils from the sea.
That must mean it was water around there!!!!

The Creative Day
When Mrs Shepard came to Room six we made some bird masks.We had to go on kid pix and make our own feathers. We painted our masks bright colours. We made big feathers and small feathers. We put vivid around the eyes of the bird masks to make it bold. We got some elastic and stuck it on to the bird masks. Then it was done. We were really pleased with them.

Fish and Thunder Zoom Around
In Room 6 we have two gold fish. They are called Fish and Thunder. The biggest is Fish and the smallest is Thunder. Thunder zooms around a LOT of times and beats Fish . Fish is orange and Thunder is orange with black spots. We used to have another fish but it died so Miss Fitchett got a new one. When Miss fitchett went to the pet store she wanted a kitten. They have red and purple stones in there tank. Some people have feeding duty. THE END.

Best Friends Together.
In the holiday Alyssa came to my house . We went for a walk with nana and spud. Alyssa went on her bike and went down the bike track and fell off her bike into a muddy puddle. Then Alyssa biked home and we put her In the sink to wash her off. Then we went to the bumper boats. When we got to the bumper boats we were so EXCITED we were jumping up and down. Then we got on the boats and took off. I bumped Into Alyssa. She got soaked! Then it was time to go. We had so much FUN.

Blend of the Week - Sp
We are thinking about things that start with sp this week. So far in the playground we have found something that spins and a painting of a spade.

Maui and the Sun
We have been focusing on retelling myths during the last two weeks. Today we are painting the sun to display in the classroom. We painted and listened to the Craig Smith CD. It was a very peaceful afternoon!

Playing with Paint
Yesterday we had a play with some paint. We were trying to figure out which paint colours mixed together to make certain colours. It was very busy, messy and FUN!
